About ALBI

ALBI stands for the Alliance of Low Carbon Businesses in Indonesia. It is a business association to help Indonesian businesses work together to support the Government of Indonesia in delivering its Low Carbon High Growth (LCHG) agenda.

The Association champions the benefits that low carbon development can bring across all business sectors, and actively supports the Government in delivering specific policy and legislative changes to bring about a low-carbon economy. It aims to develop and showcase best practices in low carbon, high growth business strategies.

ALBI is run by Indonesian business for Indonesian business. Success for ALBI means success for Indonesia’s low carbon future and for its international competitiveness.

ALBI Steering Committee

ALBI is run by a Steering Committee that meets monthly and has responsibility for strategy, direction, membership, policy and overall Governance. Steering Committee members are elected by the ALBI membership and have a 2 -year term of office.

Current Steering Committee members include representatives of the following organisations: Star Energy, PwC, Greenworks Asia, Sindicatum Sustainable Resources, Gikoko, Komunika Partners, PT Q Energy Southeast Asia and idGuides.

The Steering Committee is supported by a Secretariat, with responsibility for day-to-day operations of the organisation, including facilitation of working groups. Heads of the working groups are volunteers from amongst the ALBI membership.
